Situated in the middle of over 300 hectares of Ockham & Wisley common, Boldermere is owned by Surrey County Council and cared for by the National Trust. The water itself contains a good head of bream, roach and a few specimen carp which should prove an interesting challenge to even the most dedicated angler.

To fish this water you must be a member and fishing is only allowed on two banks. Waders are recommended for landing fish as the lake is quite shallow reaching a maximum depth of around 4ft in most places however caution must be taken as there is one or two deeper areas.

There are a few pike in this water which have been reported up to double figures.
This is a very natural looking water and swims are in gaps in the natural foliage, we are very lucky to have such a beautiful water so please when you do visit observe the signs posted by the rangers and respect the bird life on and around the water and most of all enjoy your fishing tight lines.
